س: شايف الأهلي عامل إزاي قبل البطولة؟
Q: How do you see Al Ahly before the tournament?
ج: بص، الأهلي طول عمره فريق تقيل، وفي يومه يقدر يوقف قدام أي فريق في العالم، حتى لو بيلعب ضد أبطال أوروبا أو أمريكا الجنوبية.
A: Look, Al Ahly has always been a strong team, and on their day, they can stand up to any team in the world — even against champions of Europe or South America.
س: يعني شايف إنهم ممكن يروحوا بعيد؟
Q: So you think they can go far?
ج: طبعًا. بس الموضوع كله بيقف على التفاصيل الصغيرة. الكورة في المستوى ده بتتحسم بالحاجة البسيطة: فرصة ضايعة، غلطة دفاع، ثانية تأخير.
A: Of course. But everything depends on the small details. At this level, football is decided by the tiniest things — a missed chance, a defensive error, a second too late.
س: إيه اللي شوفته في النسخ اللي فاتت؟
Q: What did you see in the past editions?
ج: الأهلي كان قريب أوي في كذا ماتش. زي ماتش فلامنجو، كانوا كسبانين وضيعوا ضربة جزاء، وبعدها خسروا. ونفس اللي حصل ضد ريال مدريد وفلومينينسي، الأهداف تيجي في آخر الدقايق.
A: Al Ahly was really close in several matches. Like against Flamengo, they were winning and missed a penalty, then lost. Same with Real Madrid and Fluminense — goals came in the last minutes.
س: تفتكر ليه ده بيحصل؟
Q: Why do you think that happens?
ج: التركيز والتعامل مع الضغط. في اللحظات اللي بتحتاج فيها تهدأ وتخلص الماتش، بيبقى فيه رعونة شوية. بس دي بتتعدل مع الوقت والخبرة.
A: It’s about focus and handling pressure. In moments where you need to stay calm and finish the game, there’s sometimes a bit of carelessness. But that gets better with time and experience.
س: فين قوة الأهلي الحقيقية؟
Q: Where is Al Ahly’s real strength?
ج: الأهلي مش بيعتمد على لاعب واحد. هو فريق بمنظومة، الكل بيخدم على الكل، وده سر قوتهم من زمان.
A: Al Ahly doesn’t rely on one player. It’s a team with a strong system — everyone supports each other. That’s been their strength for years.
س: لو لعبوا ضد إنتر ميامي مثلًا، شايف إيه؟
Q: If they play against a team like Inter Miami, what do you think?
ج: ماتش صعب طبعًا، عندهم ميسي وسواريز وبوسكيتس، بس دول كبار في السن شوية. الأهلي لو لعب برجولة وتنظيم، يقدر يكسب.
A: It would be a tough match — they have Messi, Suárez, Busquets — but they’re not young anymore. If Al Ahly plays with heart and discipline, they can win.
س: إيه اللي ناقص الأهلي عشان يبقى بطل عالمي؟
Q: What does Al Ahly lack to become a global champion?
ج: لازم يكسبوا فريق كبير فعليًا. مش بس يقدموا أداء كويس. المكسب في ماتش كبير هو اللي بيغيّر عقلية اللعيبة ويديهم شخصية في الملعب.
A: They need to actually beat a big team — not just play well. Winning big matches changes the players’ mentality and gives them confidence and identity on the pitch.
س: شايف الجيل ده إزاي مقارنة بجيلك؟
Q: How do you see this generation compared to your time?
ج: الجيل ده أسرع وأنشط، بس جيلي كان أكتر خبرة وتكتيك. كل جيل ليه ميزة. بس الأهلي دايمًا بينافس.
A: This generation is quicker and more dynamic, but my time had more tactical discipline and experience. Every generation has its strengths — but Al Ahly always competes.
س: أكتر حاجة فاكرها من وقتك في الأهلي؟
Q: What do you remember most from your time at Al Ahly?
ج: الجمهور. الجمهور حاجة ما تتوصفش. بيشجعوا من القلب وواقف مع الفريق في أي ظرف.
A: The fans. They’re unbelievable. They support the team with their whole hearts, no matter what the situation is.
س: تحب تقول إيه للاعيبة قبل البطولة؟
Q: What would you say to the players before the tournament?
ج: دي لحظة تاريخية، فرصة مش بتيجي كتير. لازم تلعبوا لآخر نفس، وماتخافوش من أسامي كبيرة. ميسي؟ هو أسطورة، بس الكرة بتتلعب برجالة، مش بالأسماء.
A: This is a historic moment — an opportunity that doesn’t come often. Play until your last breath, and don’t fear big names. Messi? He’s a legend, but football is played with courage, not names.
ج: وافتكروا إن وراكم جيش بيحبكم ومستني يفرح بيكم. انتو مش 11 لاعب.. انتو ملايين.
